Cancelling & refunds
No contracts. Cancel when you like.
We'd rather keep you because you're happy than because you're tied in. Here's exactly how cancelling and refunds work.
Your first payment
Your plan is billed monthly from the day you sign up. There is no contract, so you can cancel at any time from your billing page.
Cancelling
Log in, go to Billing and press cancel. That's it — no phone call, no notice period. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you've already paid for, so you keep the service you've paid for.
What happens to your website
Your site stays online until the end of your paid period, then comes down. Your content is yours: ask us before or shortly after cancelling and we'll send you your text and images. Your domain is registered to you and is unaffected.
Refunds
Because the subscription is a service delivered month by month, we don't normally refund part-months. If something has genuinely gone wrong — you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or we failed to deliver work you'd paid for — tell us and we'll refund it, in full or in part, straight back to the card you paid with.
How to ask
Email hello@getyourbusinessseen.co.uk or ring 07411 534359 during Mon–Fri 8am–6pm · Sat 9am–1pm. Refunds are processed through Stripe and usually appear within 5–10 working days depending on your bank.
If we cancel
If we ever have to stop providing your service, we'll give you reasonable notice, refund anything you've paid in advance for time not served, and give you your content.
NFC Review Cards
Returns & cancellations for review cards
NFC Review Cards are one-off physical purchases and are separate from the £9.99/month managed service.
What you're buying
NFC Review Cards are physical cards or stickers, £2.99 each, plus UK delivery charged once per order (£1.99 for 1–5 items, £2.99 for 6–10 items, £4.99 for 11 or more). Before posting, we programme each one with the relevant Google, AutoTrader, Trustpilot or Tripadvisor link supplied at checkout, so it is prepared specifically for your business.
Changing your mind before we post it
Tell us as soon as you can and we'll do our best to stop the order. If we haven't yet programmed and posted your card, we'll cancel it and refund you in full — nothing to return, no argument.
Changing your mind after it's been posted
If your order has already been posted, contact us and we'll agree the return with you first. Where a return is required, the card must be sent back to us before the refund is completed. Cards should be returned to: 10 Bollington House, Canal Road, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 3AP. We won't refuse to look at a cancellation simply because the card has been sent — we'll set out how your order is being treated and why.
Your cancellation rights when buying online
Consumers buying online in the UK generally have a right to change their mind within a set period after receiving the goods, and we don't try to take that away. Some goods that are made to a consumer's specification or clearly personalised are treated differently under those rules, and we don't want to state a definitive legal position on whether a card programmed with your own review link counts as personalised. If you ask to cancel, we'll tell you exactly how we're treating your order, and where a cancellation right applies we'll honour it in full.
Returning the card
Because this is a physical product, where a return is required following a cancellation the card must come back to us at 10 Bollington House, Canal Road, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 3AP before the refund is completed, subject to your statutory rights. Please return it in a condition that reflects reasonable handling — enough to see what it is and check that it works. Where a customer has gone beyond that, any legally applicable deduction will be explained to you before we finish the refund. We never quietly keep your money and the card.
Cancelled but not returned
If you've cancelled and a return is required but the card hasn't reached us yet, your order sits as 'awaiting return' on our side and the refund stays open — it isn't cancelled or refused. Get in touch if the return has gone astray and we'll work it out with you.
Faulty, damaged or not as described
This is separate from changing your mind. If your card arrives damaged, doesn't function as described, or isn't what you ordered, contact us as soon as you can with your order number and what's gone wrong, and we'll investigate and provide the appropriate remedy under your consumer rights. Where the law requires us to cover return postage in those situations, we do. Please don't bin the card before speaking to us — a photo, or the card itself, helps us see what happened.
If your order doesn't arrive
We send cards by standard UK post. That isn't a tracked or guaranteed service, so delivery times are estimates rather than promises. If your order hasn't turned up, contact us — you bought from us, not from the postal service, and it's our job to sort it. We'll check the date we posted it, the address we used and our own record of posting, and then agree a replacement or refund with you.
Cards that don't tap
Tapping needs a phone or device with NFC and it switched on. If a particular phone doesn't respond to the card, that isn't necessarily a fault with the card. Call us and we'll test your card details at our end. If the card itself is faulty, we'll replace it free of charge.
If the information you gave us was wrong
We programme each product with the review or listing link exactly as you supply it. If that link was wrong or the details you gave us were incorrect, the product isn't faulty — but tell us and we'll help. Where we can, we'll re-programme or replace it; a charge may apply for a replacement product and postage.
Refunds and how to ask
Call 07411 534359 or email hello@getyourbusinessseen.co.uk with your order number. Refunds are made through Stripe back to the card you paid with and usually appear within 5–10 working days depending on your bank. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
